Harry Potter’s ‘love interest’ plans career in fashion

Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright hopes to use her role in the wizard series to launch a career in fashion.

The 19-year-old star, who plays Harry Potter’s love interest Ginny Weasley, admits that she loves to dress up for the red carpet and admits she”d wear some of her own designs one day.

“I see the red carpet as an opportunity to show people the real me,” Contactmusic quoted Wright as telling Grazia magazine.

“My character is perceived as the mousy younger sister and it’s nice to break away from that – but it took me such a long time to decide what to wear.

“(To work on a line for) Prada or Miu Miu would be the dream!” she added.

Emma Watson to Star in Marilyn Manson's Goth Rock 'Cinderella'

Emma Watson, the only Harry Potter star who hasn't appeared in any other movies, says she's ready to be done with the series. But her next project promises to be even more bizarrely magical. According to the Sun, Watson has accepted a role in Marilyn Manson's musical goth rock take on the classic fairytale Cinderella, which in a few years is sure to be found in a DVD 2-pack along with Repo! The Genetic Opera. From the Sun: The pretty teen has been handed a part in a Goth-inspired reworking of glass slipper fairytale Cinderella. She will play a princess in the as yet untitled film being masterminded by the singer. Emma is the only Potter star not to have appeared in other films. Of course there's the risk that teaming up with a drug-guzzling freak who admits to fantasizing about murdering his ex-girlfriend could cause some problems for the squeaky clean young actress. We can only hope she doesn't go the way of Elizabeth Berkley, who was so eager to kill her image as the bookish Jessie Spano from Saved by the Bell that she ran around topless for 2 hours in the unintentionally hilarious Showgirls.
